Switches International needed to bring a 10-year-old website and dated identity up to date, while making 1,000+ industrial products easier to find and enquire about online.

A 10-year-old website and dated identity made a 1,000+ product catalogue harder to use than it needed to be
Switches International has supplied industrial switches and sensors to a wide range of industries since 1990. Its family-run business had the experience and product range; its identity and website no longer made that easy to see. The old site was almost 10 years old and the catalogue was difficult to navigate.
This was not an ecommerce problem. Customers needed to research a large, technical product range, understand what they were looking at and submit an enquiry for the right item. The catalogue contained more than 1,000 products, so the information structure and data import had to be right before any visual polish could matter.
Working with Point B Agency, we refreshed the brand and designed, wrote and launched a new catalogue website. The new experience uses WooCommerce to manage the catalogue, but deliberately does not force an online checkout into a business built around technical enquiries and personalised support.
We introduced a wider, accessible green palette that nods to the original identity, then paired it with bold typography, generous white space and a full Figma design system. Product archive and detail pages make the range easier to browse, while clear product-specific enquiry paths give prospective customers a direct route to the team.
We updated the identity around a premium, dependable industrial presence, retaining a connection to the original green while bringing the system up to date.
We organised the product archive, product-detail and enquiry journeys around the practical way customers research technical products.
We created the Figma design system, imported the large catalogue and built the WordPress and WooCommerce experience in a way that could grow with the range.
We completed the website, copy and visual assets, then launched the live catalogue site with Point B Agency.
