About Corporate Branding

Corporate branding can mean a new identity, a refresh, or the practical pieces that help a business present itself consistently. Kreate works on identity systems, naming, guidelines and motion marks, with the scope shaped around what the business needs.

Corporate branding should work at more than one size

An identity has to do more than look convincing in a presentation. It needs to hold up in the places a business uses it: a small logo, a website, a catalogue or campaign material. That is why the practical details matter — type that stays legible at 12px, palettes that pass contrast, and logos that still work at favicon size.

The work can cover a full identity system or a more focused refresh. The right scope depends on the brief; a logo project is not the same undertaking as a complete corporate identity.

The identity can grow into the materials around it

Kreate’s published work shows how identity projects can take different shapes. For Braai League, the shipped work included a brand identity and verbal direction, alongside a UX/UI system and component library. For Switches International, it included a brand refresh and visual identity, supported by a Figma design system.

For BL Consulting, the shipped work included brand positioning and tone of voice, a logo, typography and colour palette, imagery and a corporate identity system. These examples show the range of work delivered; they do not mean every engagement includes the same assets.

The scope and timing depend on what you need

An engagement starts with a briefing call, followed by concept deliverables and approval of a concept direction. From there, Kreate builds out brand assets and guidelines if they are needed. The process gives the client a point to approve the direction before the wider identity work begins.

Pricing depends on the project’s needs. A logo alone costs less than a full corporate identity. Timing also depends on the scope; an engagement can take up to 6 months. The work is aimed at delivering a high-quality, distinctive identity, with the exact deliverables agreed for the project.
