WordPress can be the easier option when a client wants to scale and manage a website with less ongoing help from developers. A React build can offer a more custom direction, but it needs people with dedicated development or coding experience to maintain it. React Native and headless CMS are also among our capabilities; the project’s scope and complexity help determine what fits.

The work ranges from catalogue and ecommerce websites to cross-platform products. For Switches International, we launched a WordPress and Elementor catalogue website with a WooCommerce catalogue and 1,000+ product import. The site gives people product-specific enquiry routes rather than adding checkout to a business built around technical enquiries and personalised support.

For Lever Arch Lab, we developed a live WooCommerce store with a 133-product variant catalogue and a 2-way Pastel, Stock2Shop and WooCommerce sync. Braai League is a different kind of build: a Capacitor-powered iOS and Android app, plus a web/PWA product, admin portal, notification engine and over-the-air update system. The technical choices follow the needs of the product, not a preferred tool looking for a project.

A design can be refined before code begins.

A supplied design does not have to be fully resolved before we can help. We also offer UI and product design, so we can help finish the design direction before development begins. That gives the team a chance to clarify what is being built and what still needs a decision.

Once the scope is defined, we price the work around milestones, with the cost depending on the size of the scope. We use milestone check-ins and setup sprints during the engagement. We are direct about the options, their pros and cons, and what each technical direction asks of the team after handover.
